Dmitry Medvedev and Bronislaw Komorowski took part in the Forum’s opening ceremony.

Dmitry Medvedev congratulated Russian fans on Russia’s victory in the bid to host the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

During the meeting Dmitry Medvedev focused on measures to combat organised crime in the Krasnodar Territory.

Dmitry Medvedev told the Patriarch that he has signed the law on the restitution of property to religious organisations. The President is confident that this law will address a number of pressing problems faced by the Russian Orthodox Church and other confessions.

Dmitry Medvedev outlined his views on the main issues of the nation’s economic development, its social sphere, national political system, national security and defence.

Mr Sobyanin briefed Dmitry Medvedev on the results of implementing presidential anti-corruption instructions, and on the progress of work to address Moscow’s traffic jams. 

Dmitry Medvedev and the parliamentary parties’ leaders discussed housing and utilities sector reform, the federal budget’s adoption, and preparation of the annual Presidential Address to the Federal Assembly.
