Dmitry Medvedev discussed current Russian-Belarusian bilateral relations with Alexander Lukashenko.

Letters of credence were presented by ambassadors of Angola, Bahrain, Belarus, Columbia, Costa Rica, Djibouti, Great Britain, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Iceland, Laos, Luxembourg, Spain, Syria, and Tunisia.

Dmitry Medvedev signed Federal Law On Ratification of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Commission.

At the meeting Mr Medvedev and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko examined various aspects of foreign policy, military technical, and trade and economic cooperation between Russia and Belarus, including cooperation in the nuclear energy sector. They also discussed the Union State’s budget for 2012 and the 2012–2015 Social Development Concept.

A regular meeting of the Union State’s Supreme State Council will take place on November 25, 2011 in Moscow.

Dmitry Medvedev, Nursultan Nazarbayev, and Alexander Lukashenko discussed integration in the Eurasian region and signed a number of joint agreements.

The heads of the Customs Union member states will discuss current issues of integration in the Eurasian region pending entry into force on January 1, 2012, of a package of treaties forming a Common Economic Space between the three nations.

Dmitry Medvedev signed Federal Law On Ratification of Agreement on Payment and Enrolment Procedures for Export Customs Tariffs (and Other Equivalent Tariffs, Taxes and Duties) When Exporting from the Territory of the Republic of Belarus Beyond the Customs Union’s Customs Territory Raw Petrol and Certain Categories of Goods Produced from Petrol.

Dmitry Medvedev had a telephone conversation with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.

Dmitry Medvedev told journalists about the results of the Russian-North Korean summit and answered questions on Russia’s foreign policy priorities regarding Libya, Ukraine, and Belarus. 

Dmitry Medvedev submitted to the State Duma for ratification the Agreement on the Customs Union’s Functioning within a Multilateral Trade System, signed in Minsk on May 19, 2011.

The two presidents discussed various bilateral relations matters, cooperation within the Customs Union, and exchanged views on the main issues on the international agenda.

Dmitry Medvedev signed Federal Law On Ratification of the Cooperation Agreement on Countering Illegal Labour Migration from Third Countries.

Dmitry Medvedev signed Federal Law On Ratification of the Agreement on the Organisation, Management, Operation and Development of Common Markets for Crude Oil and Petroleum Products in the Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation.

Dmitry Medvedev signed federal laws ratifying Agreement on common principles and rules of competition, Agreement on coordinated principles of monetary policy and Agreement on coordinated macroeconomic policy.
