Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Sultanate of Oman on Avoiding Double Taxation with Respect to Income Tax and Preventing Tax Evasion, and Protocol thereto.

The President of Russia had a conversation with Crown Prince Ziyazan Bin Haytham Al Said, Minister of Youth, Culture and Sports of the Sultanate of Oman, on the sidelines of the “Russia Calling” investment forum.

The President received letters of credence from 17 newly-appointed ambassadors of foreign states. As per tradition, the ceremony took place in the Alexander Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace.

Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq Al-Said at the Oman side’s initiative.

Vladimir Putin received letters of credence from nineteen new ambassadors to the Russian Federation from Australia, the Republic of Benin, the Republic of the Congo, Croatia, Cuba, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Republic of El Salvador, Estonia, the United States of Mexico, the Republic of Moldova, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, New Zealand, the Sultanate of Oman, the Republic of the Philippines, Serbia, Spain, the Republic of the Sudan, the Kingdom of Swaziland, and Sweden.

Following tradition, the presentation ceremony took place in the Grand Kremlin Palace’s St Alexander Hall.
