The reunification took place in Belarus, where the child was accompanied by an authorised person and a member of the Commissioner’s staff.

Ms Lvova-Belova also visited a number of children’s institutions, held a personal reception of citizens, met with a large family and families of the participants in the special military operation.

Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights Maria Lvova-Belova paid an official visit to the State of Qatar on April 23–26, 2024. Ms Lvova-Belova met with State Minister for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lolwah Al-Khater. In addition, in-person talks were held for the first time with Ukrainian representatives on family reunification under Qatar’s mediation.

On April 18–19, 2024, Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights Maria Lvova-Belova made a working trip to the Donetsk People’s Republic, the Lugansk People’s Republic and the Zaporozhye Region. One of the main goals of her trip was to help the new regions build an effective system of preventing social orphanhood and to support the families in a difficult situation.

The Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights paid a working visit to the Volgograd Region. Maria Lvova-Belova met with Governor Andrei Bocharov, representatives of regional agencies responsible for protecting children’s rights and interests, and also reviewed the work of several children’s social institutions.

The President held a meeting, via video conference, with the Government members.

At the initiative of Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights Maria Lvova-Belova and with the support of the Tyumen Region government, the 22^nd National Congress of Commissioners for Children's Rights was held in Tyumen on April 3–4, 2024.
