The Children’s Rights Commissioner met with Governor of the Samara Region Vyacheslav Fedorishchev, held a meeting with heads of child neglect prevention system agencies, and personally met with several families.

Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights Maria Lvova-Belova chaired a meeting of the Public Council to review the main results of the council’s activities throughout 2024 and chart plans for the upcoming year. The Public Council of the Time of Heroes programme held its meeting. At the meeting, the launch of the enrolment campaign for the second master’s degree round was announced and the results of the second module for the first round, which concluded on November 5, were summed up.

First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Sergei Kiriyenko chaired a meeting of the Coordinating Committee for organising Presidential grant competitions for the development of civil society. The meeting participants reviewed a report on the implementation of the projects completed in 2023 and financed by the Presidential Grants Foundation and selected the best 100 of them.

On November 13–14, Novosibirsk hosted the National Forum for Social Orphanhood Prevention “To Live and Be Raised in a Family” – the 23^rd National Congress of Commissioners for Children’s Rights in the Constituent Entities of the Russian Federation.
