The National Award for Outstanding Achievements in Human Rights Activity was conferred on Yelizaveta Glinka, executive director of the Spravedlivaya Pomoshch [Fair Aid] International Public Organisation, and the National Award for Outstanding Achievements in Charity Work was conferred on Alexander Tkachenko, general director of ANO Children’s Hospice.

Vladimir Putin signed Executive Order On Presenting the 2016 Russian Federation National Award for Outstanding Achievements in Human Rights Activity, and the Russian Federation National Award for Outstanding Achievements in Charity Work.

The President signed the Executive Order On the Public Commission with the President of the Russian Federation on Nominating Candidates for the Russian Federation National Award for Outstanding Achievements in the Field of Human Rights and the Russian Federation National Award for Outstanding Achievements in Charitable Work.
